Dmitri Rumschlag (he/him)

Dmitri opened Z Cycle Shop in September 2018 

with one mission: to bring a reliable, knowledgeable and friendly bicycle repair shop to the Denver metro area.  A passion for cycling, environmentalism, and mechanics inspired us to open up our shop and continues to drive us to this day. All of our repairs are completed with meticulous detail and we specialize in using recycled and new components to revive your bicycle so you can enjoy the ride!

Dmitri can be found wrenching on bikes, chatting with customers, and running around the shop while telling stories about bike tours, near death experiences, and his previous solar-powered mobile bicycle coffee cart. Dmitri believes in helping cyclists ride bikes 7 days a week. Here is a photo of him with his tandem after a 125 mile gravel race he rode the day before with friends.

Frankie W. (they/them)

Frankie believes that with a good tune up, a customer walks away with new knowledge about their bike. They love talking people through what's going on and helping pass along that knowledge. Frankie used to hate bikes, but became involved in the industry when they saw how bikes are truly for everyone. Through their work, they hope to continue making biking more accessible. They like working on challenging projects, though is most skilled working on day to day commuters and road bikes and would love to help snaz-ify your bike. While function comes first, fashion is a close second.

Eric has been a bike mechanic off and on for 15 years and a bike messenger for 21 years. He used to build custom steel bikes, which he learned from Master framebuilder Koichi Yamaguchi. Eric particularly enjoys working on vintage road bikes and cyclocross bikes

Steve D. (he/him)

Steve has been working on bikes on and off for 35 years. He will work on anything, and especially enjoys working on vintage bikes. Steve wants to help keep commuters on the road because that means one less car. If he has it his way, he’d be on a bike every day.
